Return and Refund Policy

We thank you and appreciate your purchase with us. Please read the policy, conditions and process carefully as they will give you important information and guidelines about your rights and obligations as our customer, concerning any purchase you make through us unless specifically stated otherwise on our product pages or readers offer advertisements. We make every effort to service the order/s placed with us as per the specifications and timelines mentioned against each product. If due to any reason, unavoidable circumstances or beyond the limitations of the vendors the order is being returned and refunded then the following policy shall govern such return.

Customers can choose to return products by logging into their account, entering the ‘My Orders’ section, choosing ‘Return’ and selecting the products they wish to return. The refund will be given to the customer once the product has been Quality checked subject to certain conditions and exceptions which shall be mentioned below.

Requests for product replacement or return within 15 days after the delivery of the order, the same shall be processed only if Your request for refund has been accepted by Us. The product/s can be returned only after intimating us about the issue in hand. However, there are certain products such as lingerie items, jewellery items etc. specified as “Non-Returnable” on the Website in the product description, for which we do not offer return/replacement. If customers have a high rate of requesting refunds or cancellations, we reserve the right to collect Rs 149 of shipping and delivery charges and disable Cash on Delivery option for these accounts. All items returned must be in original condition (for e.g. apparel must be packed in the original shoe box), with the same covering and the contact information on the package must remain intact and undamaged.

Once the request for return, refund or replacement is place, our logistic partner will arrive to pick up the product in 5 days. The logistic partner will make 3 attempts to pick up the product. If the product isn’t returned by the 3rd attempt, the return option may not be available in the future, discretion for which lies with the company and in such an event the customer needs to raise a new request for return.  Furthermore, if the product was purchased from third-party e-commerce apps, then the return policy and procedure will sync with theirs.

The customer shall be entitled for exchange provided the product is available and in stock. However, in cases of promotional deals or schemes, the customer shall only be entitled to a size exchange for the same product.

For refund/s in case customer have purchased any product/s during an offer or a scheme, they will be entitled to a proportionate refund of the total amounts paid by them.

Unlike most websites, IF & BUT won’t forfeit the shipping and COD charges. Shipping charges for the Products returned are refunded in full and the COD charges which are charged on order level are refunded proportionately in case you choose to return a Product purchased during a promotion/scheme.


Product bought online from website is applicable for  the process of return . However in case the product is bought online from other e-commerce players and market places like PayTm, Snapdel, Amazon , Flipkart etc, then the refund policy will be adopted in sync with their applicable policies.

We endeavor to process refunds within 15 business days from the date of receipt of the product. However, the refund is subject to the transaction and processing time taken by the bank after the NEFT is initiated by IF & BUT . In case of any refund discrepancies, IF & BUT may at its sole discretion, request customer you to share with us a screenshot of their bank statement.

We understand that in some scenarios, the Product may take more than 7 days to reach our warehousing and quality check facilities. In such scenario, we process the refund amounts intermittently but, in case the product does not clear the quality check, we will reserve all right to take appropriate steps to recover the amount already credited to your account.

i)         Based on medium which customer might have used for paying for an order , below are the scenario as how company will initiate refunds to the customers :

ii)        If customer has paid for the order using bank account/credit card/debit card, then the refunded amount gets credited to your bank/credit card account within 15 business days from the date of refund request

iii)       If customer has paid for the order using IF & BUT Credits, then the amount gets refunded to your IF & BUT account within 15 business day of refund request.

If customer has paid for the order using Cash on Delivery option, then the requisite amounts shall be refunded as IF & BUT credits( loyalty points ) into their IF & BUT account within 7-10 business day from the date the product is picked up. Customer will have an option for refund of paid amounts by way of IF & BUT credits or into their  bank account. Please note that in case of any refund to their bank account , customer need to comply with the Company’s Policy in this regard , which shall be a conclusive undertaking at their end in all aspects. Please further note that customer will be completely responsible for providing correct bank details and the company shall not be responsible incase wrong information has been provided to it.
